In this song, we see another classic poetic pairing illustrating the relationship of man to woman mentioned over and over again in countless songs: Shama and Parwana. Where shama=candle=female and parwana=moth=male, these roles can always be reversed but it is usually the male that gets burned in approaching the light. (I've always suspected that the Janet Jackson song Like A Moth To The Flame, Burned By The Fire was derived from Indian poetry/song)
